Hunter acquires Stylecats

Hunter has taken over Stylecats, a supplier of cat furniture and accessories, thereby adding products for cat owners to Hunter’s range for the first time. The new products will be available from the existing online shop and will also be in stores from the middle of next year.

Stylecats is to be retained as an independent brand. Carsten Thylmann, managing director hitherto, will act as category manager at Hunter. He will be responsible for product development and will expand the range, according to the company. Moreover, Stylecats is to be turned into a B2B brand by mid-2024. “Stylecats has been on our radar for quite a while and we have been in casual contact with the two founders for a few years. In my opinion, there is no cat furniture that is more aesthetic in the pet sector overall,” says Nadine Trautwein, managing partner of the Hunter Group.
