Zooplus is broadening its offering for pet owners by adding a subscription model for the delivery of pet supplies. The Zooplus subscription model is already active in Germany and Austria. It is expected to be extended to more than 20 European country shops in the coming months.
In the “zooplus Abo”, customers can specify their preferred delivery frequency and have the product delivered automatically at regular intervals to their home. “The service is particularly handy for items such as pet food, treats and litter, which meet the recurring daily needs of pet owners. The frequency can be adapted at any time or it can be paused,” says Geoffroy Lefebvre, CEO of Zooplus. Customers benefit from flexible order data and shopping basket options as well as discounts on each subscription item. Alongside the existing own-brand product portfolio of Zooplus, the service is expected to include further collaborations with local and international pet brands.
