Zooplus opens logistics hub in Czech Republic

Europe’s leading online pet supplies retailer Zooplus and contract logistics service provider GXO Logistics opened a new logistics hub in the Czech town of Bor at the start of October. According to a press release from Zooplus, the new hub adds 60 000 m² of package processing capacity and uses advanced automation solutions.

The logistics hub has already commenced operations, enabling Zooplus to load over 30 packages per minute and dispatch more than 200 000 customer packages per week. This is expected to effectively service Zooplus’s growing customer demand in central and western Europe.
