Chewy increases net sales by 14.3 per cent

The American chew specialist Chewy has published its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2023, which ended on 30 July.

They show that net sales of 2.78 bn US dollars represent a year-on-year increase of 14.3 per cent. The company had net profits of 18.9 mio US dollars including stock-based compensation expenses and associated taxes amounting to 68.3 mio US dollars.

“We achieved solid results in the second quarter both in terms of sales and profitability, and exceeded the forecast with growth of 14 per cent,“ said Sumit Singh, Chewy CEO, with satisfaction.
