Joost Bous moves to Zooplus from Action

Zooplus, Europe’s leading online platform for pet supplies, has announced the appointment of Joost Bous as chief operating officer and member of the Zooplus executive committee.

Following the departure of Dr Mischa Ritter from the company, Joost Bous will assume responsibility for the entire operations field at Zooplus including fulfilment, linehaul operations & quality, last mile & delivery experience, procurement & inventory, supply chain management, transportation & invoice control, operational research & innovation.

Joost Bous spent a number of years with the courier delivery service TNT Express and its predecessor company, latterly as operational director for Europe and North America. Before moving to Zooplus, he held the positions of supply chain director and member of the executive board at the non-food discounter Action.
