Eleven months in advance of the event, the level of registrations for the next edition of world-leading trade fair Interzoo (7-10 May 2024) is already high. A large proportion of the exhibition area available has already been allocated, according to fair organiser Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe (WZF).
Since registration opened in mid-March, exhibitors from 58 countries have booked their stand space, with much larger reservations being recorded from Asia, Oceania and Africa in particular than at Interzoo 2022. In total, 14 show halls are being planned for the next Interzoo, two more than for last year.
As well as German exhibitors, companies from the UK, Italy and the USA have hitherto been the most frequent participants. There is considerable demand, however, from Chinese exhibitors, who were subject to strict travel restrictions until recently on account of the pandemic.
A large number of country pavilions have already been confirmed, including newly registered ones from Greece and New Zealand. Furthermore, countries including Argentina, India and Turkey have expressed the intention of having their own pavilions for the first time.
