Montego opens a new head office

Montego Pet Nutrition, which claims to be Africa’s biggest pet food manufacturer, has invested 2 mio dollars in new headquarters in Centurion, south of Pretoria. The facility comprises a dry food plant, warehouse and administrative offices on a site covering over 21 600 m². Three previously existing locations are thus being combined into one facility. The plant will concentrate on the production of Montego’s Monty & Me Essential product line as well as manufacturing private label products.

Montego’s production capacity will be doubled by the new plant, which also has its own laboratory, like the main plant in Graaff-Reinet.

The new administrative building has 1 400 m² of space over three floors for the 147 staff from the company’s offices in Gauteng. There is also room to accommodate more employees.
