Tomra Food appoints Christian Tougaard

Belgian company Tomra Food has appointed Christian Tougaard as regional sales director EMEA for Tomra Processed Food, part of Tomra Food. His appointment follows the reorganisation earlier this year into two business units, Tomra Processed Food and Tomra Fresh Food.

Tougaard reports directly to Karel Strubbe, VP and head of global sales at Tomra Processed Food, who was promoted this January from his previous role as regional sales director EMEA.

Before joining Tomra, Tougaard spent 12 years at Alfa Laval, managing business organisation development in various roles during a period when the business grew significantly.
