Pet owners are displaying growing interest in traditional therapy approaches such as phytotherapy, according to the manufacturer Kräuter Mix. To treat digestive problems in dogs and horses with phytotherapy, for example, turmeric (curcuma), frankincense, liquorice root, yarrow and marshmallow root are five plants that have proved effective as medicinal herbs.
Veterinarian Katja Görts will talk about the five plants in a free online workshop, describing their mode of action, the available scientific data and application areas. The one-hour workshop video and accompanying documents will be available to participants from 25 October to 8 November. Applications can be submitted here up to 17 October.
