Awards for pet store chains

Consumers in nine European countries were asked by Q&A Insights Europe to choose their favourite retail chains and online shops. They were requested to rate price levels and service, for example, but also the customer-friendliness of the companies.
In the pet store category, which was rated in just five countries, the winner was Fressnapf in Germany and Austria. Maxi Zoo Denmark, the Danish subsidiary of Fressnapf, also won the top award. In Italy, the award for the best pet product retailer went to Isola dei Tesori, while Welkoop came out on top in the Netherlands.
In the pet retail webshop category, Zooplus was the victor in Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands. No vote took place in the other countries for this category.
The poll to find the Retailers of the Year was open from late spring to September in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Portugal and Russia.
