Battling the heat in Bucharest

Braving average temperatures of 35°C both inside and outside the exhibition hall, around 10 000 visitors attended the Pet-Expo consumer fair in Bucharest last weekend. This turn-out was in line with the expectations and announcements of the organiser Ilpan (www.petexpo.ro). Nearly all the exhibitors were Romanian, including Pet Product and Exotic-K, two of the country's foremost wholesale companies. These firms also represented key international brands in the pet supplies sector. Visitors to the show included a large number of representatives from international pet product manufacturers, who took the opportunity at the fair to form a picture of the Romanian pet supplies market.
