The second Guangzhou Pet & Aqua Expo will be held from 26 to 28 June in the China Import and Export fair complex Pazhou in Guangzhou. According to the organisers, the first show, which took place in November 2014, attracted approximately 200 exhibitors and featured 500 different pet products and services. More than 13 000 visitors came to the show last year.

The Romanian pet trade fair PetExpo Romania will be held in Bucharest for the seventh time on 22 to 24 May. Over 50 exhibitors and more than 15 000 visitors are expected by the organisers at the Romexpo Conference and Exhibition Center. The event is the only professional trade fair in the pet supplies business for the up-and-coming Romanian market. With three main categories of visitors - veterinarians, pet shops and pet owners - the event is both a B2B trade show and a B2C direct communication channel for the biggest brands on the market. According to the organisers, more than half of the households in Romania own a pet. Romania has over 10 mio pets, including 3 mio dogs and 4 mio cats. According to Euromonitor, the market for pet food and pet care products in Romania is worth over € 168 mio and is growing annually by over 5 per cent. The organisers of PetExpo Romania say the Romanian pet shop market has developed very strongly in recent years. Romanians spend most of their money allocated to pet-related purchases on dog food (€ 120 mio).

ZooVetExpo, the 11th International Forum for Pet Supplies, will take place in Kiev in Ukraine from 31 March to 2 April. According to the organisers, the fair has developed into the leading industry trade fair and one of the most important networking platforms for helping international companies to transact pet product business successfully in Ukraine and the CIS.

For Pets is an annual trade fair for pet supplies held in Prague in the Czech Republic. The fifth edition will take place on 9-12 April at the PVA Expo Prague Exhibition Centre in the Czech capital. The preparations for this year's event are already fully under way.
Like last year's event, the trade fair will accommodate more than eighty exhibitors offering all products for dogs, cats, small rodents, mammals and aquatic pets.
