CGPC announces second quarter results

The Central Garden & Pet Company (CGPC) has announced results for its fiscal second quarter ended 29 March. The company reported net sales of $ 485 mio in the quarter, relatively unchanged compared to $ 486 mio in the same fiscal period in 2007. Operating income was $ 44.7 mio, a decline of three per cent compared to $ 46.2 mio.
