Interzoo: A growing number of exhibitors from China

Over 1 400 exhibitors will be present at the world-leading fair in Nuremberg

The Interzoo trade show, which takes place from 22 to 25 May in Nuremberg, will feature many more exhibitors than two years ago. The organiser, WZF GmbH, is expecting more than 1 400 companies to exhibit at the world’s leading trade show for the pet sector. The exhibition area is also being increased from 78 900 m² in 2006 to around 89 000 m² this year. The majority of the growth at this year’s Interzoo stems from abroad, with a significant increase in exhibition floor space for China (+56 per cent), India (+20 per cent), Great Britain (+33 per cent), Taiwan (+26 per cent), Canada (+17 per cent), the Netherlands (+15 per cent), Denmark (+14 per cent), Poland (+14 per cent), Spain (+9 per cent), France (+8 per cent), the Czech Republic (+6 per cent) and the USA (+10 per cent). The largest exhibition areas are taken up by Germany (19 900 m²), Italy (4 800 m²), China (3 600 m²), Great Britain (2 700 m²), the Netherlands (2 600 m²), the USA (2 500 m²), Belgium (1 800 m²), France (1 700 m²), Spain (1 200 m²) and Poland (1 100 m²).
