2 446 buying firms in Atlantic City

More than 7 900 qualified buyers from 2 446 firms attended Backer’s 19th Annual Pet Industry Spring Trade Show at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City. The total number of buying firms was down 6 per cent on last year. A total of 558 exhibitors displayed products in more than 880 booths. In addition, 90 exhibitors displayed at the Backer show for the first time. Backer’s next show is the 41st Annual Pet Industry Christmas Trade Show, 12th-14th October in Rosemont/Chicago. The Spring Trade Show will move to a new venue and new time frame in 2008: 16th-18th May in Baltimore (picture).
