P.P.M. Oost helps to finance international expansion of Dutch “Pet’s Family” stores

P.P.M. Oost – an investment company with the Dutch government as its major shareholder – is investing in Omaha B.V., the company that owns the “Pet’s Family” retail concept. The company is providing backing for Omaha’s ambition of growing over the next few years into a retail chain of shops in Europe comprising normal-sized pet shops (“Pet’s Family)”, pet mega-stores (“Pet’s Family Centre)” and in-store pet shops in garden centres (“Pet’s Family Garden Centre”). “With this participation, Omaha has the possibility of growing further both nationally and internationally with its retail trade activities,” said Olaf Siemens, general manager of Omaha.
