Growth for Mr. Bricolage

Retail sales up by 2.3 per cent in the first nine months

The distribution channels in the Mr. Bricolage Group increased their gross sales in the first nine months of 2006 by 2.3 per cent to € 1.338 bn. While the Mr. Bricolage stores succeeded in increasing sales by 2.7 per cent to € 1.237 bn, sales via the Catena distribution channel declined by 2.6 per cent to € 101.3 mio. At the end of September the group had 423 Mr. Bricolage outlets with a total retail area of approx. 1 147 000 m² following 15 new openings (+33 313 m²) and 13 expansions (+20 170 m²).
