Healthy treats Spanish/Czech company Dibaq has introduced healthy snacks for dogs and cats that have a tasty fresh meat flavour and are produced from healthy raw materials without any synthetic additives. The treats, called "Bonbons", are of a rounded shape and are covered with a glaze made of liver, lamb or fish. "Bonbons" take the size of the dog into account and are thus available for small, medium or giant breeds. The popular tiny rounded balls are very well accepted by cats too. Hall 19, stand B-48 Attractive housing American company Pets International, manufacturer of "Super Pet" small animal products, will be featuring its new product "CritterTrail Revolution". It is a revolutionary new concept in small animal housing for hamsters and gerbils. The unique feature of it is that pets live inside a giant exercise wheel that they can revolve. "CritterTrail Revolution" offers a generous living space for all hamsters and gerbils and comes complete with a water bottle, food dish and a climbing tube for access to the running surface of the giant wheel. The home includes multiple doorways giving easy access for pets, a removable hideout house and a pull-out tray for quick cleaning. The new product can also be attached to any of the eight additional homes in the "CritterTrail"product line. Hall 19, stand E-68 Vegetable snack "Amí Bone" is the new bone-shaped vegetable snack in the Amí product line. True to the guiding principle of Italian company Amí s.r.l., "Amí Bone" is a 100-per-cent vegetable product that is eco-sustainable. The snack helps to keep dogs healthy: it treats dental plaque and tartar, keeps gums healthy, improves breath and aids digestion. "Amí Bone" is available in different sizes and flavours. Hall 19, stand A-39 New premium food Italian company Nova Foods has been operating for more than ten years in the pet food sector, producing dry foods for cats and dogs. Now the company has developed the new dog & cat premium range "Ok Dog & Cat", with eight formulas for dogs and four formulas for cats in attractive packaging. All formulas contain fresh chicken & turkey for a highly palatable and digestible food that keeps the dog in perfect physical shape. An optimum ratio of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids helps to strengthen the immune system, keep the coat thick and shiny and the skin healthy. And the cat formulas include a substantial taurine content to help protect sight and hearing. Hall 20, stand B-70 Refrigeration and sterilisation combined Italian company Teco, a leading manufacturer of refrigerators and conditioners for aquariums, anticipates the future with two revolutionary product lines. Thanks to its continuous research into new technologies its "TR" refrigerators and "TC" conditioners have now also become instruments for treating the water. For the first time it has been possible to integrate a UV-C lamp inside the unit, enabling the correct water temperature to be maintained while at the same time improving the biological state of the water. Hall 19, stand D-64 Aquarium controller Italian company Aquatronica, which produces electronic control systems for use in water applications, has created a powerful system that permits all aquarium electrical equipment to be managed using a unique device: the aquarium controller. It has many functions, including multi-timer, temperatu-re sensor, electronic memo and software reprogramming. As a new product for 2005 Aquatronica presents the Chemicals family, composed of various interfaces that can be connected to the system. Now three interfaces have been launched: PH-, Redox- and temperature reading. The controller manages all these interfaces and displays the detected chemical value trends. Hall 21, stand A-54 Dog toys "Puppy Pull" is a range of extremely durable dog toys from Belgian company Flamingo. It has been designed with puppies in particular in mind and the toys are suitable for both indoor and outdoor play. Three different designs are available. "Smiling Animals" latex figures (picture) are another new product and are sure to provide a fun game for any dog. The brightly coloured figures are non-toxic and come in many different versions. Hall 22, stand C-22 Healthy water "Aquasana Gold" from Italian company Prodac is a water conditioner for mini-aquariums and glass goldfish bowls that is used to neutralise the chlorine in tap water, reduce the heavy metal pollutant effects of tap water and to condition the water for the fish. It is enhanced with aloe vera, a special natural colloid which protects the scales and gills of fish. "Aquasana Gold" must be used immediately after filling the new aquarium and when some of the water is replaced as it maintains a stable pH level and is an ideal and efficient anti-stress agent. The product is sold in small 30 ml bottles. Hall 19, stand D-60 Perfect place for pets The "Baggy" pet carrier for small animals is the latest product from the Italian company Imac. It offers a unique design that features a semi-transparent "split & slide" roof with built-in handles. Its innovative looks and great choice of colours are combined with high quality materials to ensure a product that is distinctive, easy to use and comfortable for both pet and owner. Hall 19, stand D-36 Innovative products Two new additions to its top-selling range of "Staywell" pet products are being launched by British company Reilor. The first of the two new products is "petPod", an automatic feeding unit. With a modern design reflected by its packaging, it utilises sophisticated and accurate digital timing technology to provide a new degree of convenience for pet owners. It is also ideal for regulating the administration of medicine, if required. The second new product is called "Eco Clean". It provides an innovative biological disposal system. A purpose-designed disposal bin housing an integrally stored scoop - both made from recycled materials - are provided for owners to collect their dog's waste and place it in the bin. With "Eco Clean" the waste is quickly converted into a highly effective, odour-free garden fertiliser. Hall 19, stand A-50 Economical shopfitting Italian company Porsa has created a new, cheaper version of the successful aquarium display model "Aquawave". This new economical version, named "Ecowave" has been designed for those of Porsa's customers who favour functionality and inexpensiveness over the stylish appearance and image. The new version is based on modification of the main element of "Aquawave"models with regard to outward appearance, which is insignificant from a functional point of view: the decorative section. As a result, the "Ecowave" system retains the virtues of its predecessor at a lower price, facilitated by the absence of the ornamental profiles. The new system comprises a supporting framework based on the square profile 25x25 mm and integrated with another square profile with a double flange located in the rack's front horizontal profiles/crossbars for covering the junction points of the tanks. The door opening system is very similar to the "Aquawave", a system that is designed to simplify installation. As with all previous aquarium systems, the "Ecowave" version can also be built to give stand-alone single bays, or modular multiple-bay displays - which can either be independent and placed side by side, or combined and arranged in a continuous multiple-unit line. The systems are also ideal for reptile displays and many other small animal and pet enclosures, such as aviaries, rodent displays, rabbit displays etc. Hall 19, stand B-50 Private label partner Lebanese company Delta Trans presents "Smiling-Pet", a private label line of high quality plastic pet products. The range comprises pet carriers for dogs and cats in different sizes, small animal carriers, cat litter boxes and cat pans, and metal cages for birds and small animals. The company claims to be flexible in terms of colours, packaging, quantities and private labelling. "Smiling-Pet" offers tailor-made solutions that will maximise profits. Hall 21, stand B-60 Hand-made leather goods Italian company La Cinopelca produces dog leads, harnesses and collars of leather. The company imports its leather from England and the products are then hand-crafted using traditional methods at the company's premises in Italy. Hall 19, stand B-36 Innovative heater "Magictherm" from Italian company Prodac is the ideal heater for both fresh- and saltwater aquariums. It consists of a quartz glass tube which provides exceptional resistance to sudden temperature changes and to heat, guaranteeing against the risk of breakage or explosion in the event the heater is removed from the aquarium accidentally while still on and then returned to the water. The heater has a double seal, making it completely watertight and shatterproof. The heating element ensures fast and efficient heating and features an indicator light that confirms when the heater is on. The graduated scale for temperature control on the cap of the heater permits easy temperature adjustment, offering an optimum temperature range between 16°C and 32°C. "Magictherm" is available in six wattages, from 25 to 300 W. Hall 19, stand D-60 Automatic fish feeder Italian company Ferplast is exhibiting the "Chef" automatic feeder in the "Marex" line for fish. It runs on two 1.5 V batteries, is easy to clean and maintain and holds 100 ml of food. An LED indicates when the battery charge is low. Up to three feeding times can be set daily along with the precise amount of food. The food outlet can also be provided with three different doors to give a choice between flake food and two sizes of granulate. The company states that the new feeder can thus be adjusted optimally for any sort of food. Hall 20, stand D-24 New magazine on small animals "Rodix" is a magazine from Italian publishers Tree that is devoted to rodents, rabbits and ferrets. Tree says that its magazine has been on the market now for exactly a year. It appears every two months and is in the best of health. "Rodix" sells 11,800 copies through 2,023 pet shops and garden centres and 400 issues through subscription. Hall 21, stand A-31 Dog days, dog nights "LeashLite" from American company CMI is an incredible small light device with three white LEDs that create a surprising amount of light for an amazing amount of time. The beauty of "LeashLite" is that it can be mounted on and/or clipped to any retractable or conventional leash. It can be attached to the top of the leash, clipped on the dog's collar, or clipped to the dog owner's cap. "LeashLite" comes with high capacity lithium batteries that provide over 15 hours of light. After that time it begins to get dimmer but will actually provide light for up to 24 hours. And an incandescent flashlight bulb with this kind of power supply would not last one hour. Hall 22, stand area USA Attractive aquariums Italian company Acquari D`Autore is a relatively new company specialising in the production of aquariums. The firm focuses in particular on the manufacture of decorative display and sales facilities for fish and reptiles, especially for the speciality trade. Acquari D`Autore also supplies all the necessary accessories for the presentation of fish, reptiles and plants as well as show aquariums and aquarium furniture. Hall 19, stand B-47 Shrimp food American company San Francisco Bay Brands has introduced "Spirulina Enriched Brine Shrimp". The company states that fish farmers around the world noticed that including spirulina algae in the diet of sick fish or shrimp could on most occasions reduce the amount of medication needed to restore these sick fish to health. The new food is suitable for both marine and freshwater fish. It enhances the immune system, preparing and aiding the natural ability of fish to fight off disease, and enables the fish to better handle the physiological results of stress. The second new food is "Omega-3 Brine Shrimp". Lipids, which include fats, oils and waxes, play an important role in providing the primary energy reserves for marine and freshwater fish as most fish only have a limited ability to oxidise carbohydrates to obtain the energy needed for growth, development and the normal maintenance of bodily functions. Including "Omega-3 Brine Shrimp" in the diet will enhance the beauty of valuable marine and freshwater species and extend their longevity. Hall 21, stand A-74 Luxury accessories Italian company Platinum Dog offers luxury accessories for dogs. Using only the highest quality materials, its collection has been created with special attention to detail. The "Fifth Avenue Collar and Leash" range is made of multicolored seashell toned cocco. Calf leather is imprinted with a crocodile pattern and has a shiny patent finish. The collar is lined with soft white calf leather in a matt finish. All metal hooks and buckles are silver coloured. Hall 20, stand D-24 Delicious Snacks Dutch company Rodi Petfood has developed a broad range of delicious meat snacks for dogs. With a variety of shapes and bite experiences combined with different attractive colours it's fun to buy these snacks and to see how dogs love them. The assortment consists of different categories like softies, semi-dried and dried products. Examples of "Rodi Dog" snacks are "Meat Mallows", "Chicken Bones", "Meat Swings", "Stripes", "Twisters", "Chewbones" and the "Tooth Brush". There are more than 50 products to choose from.
