Glee in Birmingham

The number of visitors to the UK garden and leisure show Glee fell slightly compared with last year. 24 530 trade visitors attended the three-day fair in Birmingham this year, compared with 25 124 in 2005. A total of 22 109 visitors from the UK was recorded (2005: 22 154). And the number of foreign visitors also declined from 2 970 last year to 2 421 at this year’s show. In spite of this slight fall in numbers, the organisers were happy with the outcome of the show.
