New stores in India

Metro AG of Düsseldorf is set to expand further in India, with two new C+C stores reported to be in the pipeline. In the medium term the Düsseldorf company envisages investing € 300 mio in a further 20 stores if the general commercial conditions improve. Metro is still waiting for a vegetable licence. Metro AG already operates two C+C stores in Bangalore.
