Big increase in new exhibitors

The organisers of the Global Pet Expo taking place from 13 to 15 May 2005 in Orlando (Florida, USA) are expecting 600 exhibitors with over 1700 stands. This figure reportedly includes 150 companies that are appearing at the show for the first time. The fair is only open to members of the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (APPMA) and the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA). The exhibition area will cover around 16,000 m2.
Approximately 600 new products are expected to be on display. Roughly 35 percent of the 2100 buyers expected to attend the show will be coming from abroad.
