Time’s up for Animal Planet

The French speciality retail chain Animal Planet has been wound up following insolvency proceedings. The company operated 20 pet stores in France and four in Belgium. The outlet in Luxemburg continues to operate. The stores had retail areas of between 600 and 800 m² and were located on trading estates. Live animals were also sold in the stores.
