Focus shedding its pet segment

The UK DIY chain Focus is planning to reduce its offer in the pet segment, with the intention of giving up its pet business altogether by October 2004, according to trading director Justin Farrington-Smith. However, the company may continue to stock pet food as part of its gardening range.
