Dental care for dogs and cats

The latest Hill’s Speaker Tour, focusing on dental care for dogs and cats, concluded with four lecture dates in Germany. Around 70 per cent of cats and 80 per cent of dogs show signs of periodontal disease by two years of age, and speakers from Europe, the USA and Canada covered the subject of oral cavity and dental disease. The tour began in Spain in March and visited 23 countries across Europe. According to Hill’s, tour lectures were attended by thousands of veterinary surgeons, students and veterinary surgery staff.
