United Petfood takes over Iams plant

United Petfood has taken over the production site of Iams Europe in Coevorden from Spectrum Brands. The products of the Iams and Eukanuba brands are manufactured at this location.
"United Petfood is taking over the plant, and Spectrum Brands will remain in possession of the 'Iams' and 'Eukanuba' brands," United Petfood stated in the announcement.
The brands will be produced in future by United Petfood in Coevorden. The company intends to develop additional own brands at this location.
