The purely digital edition of the world-leading Interzoo trade show is already on the starting blocks. Visitors can now register online to participate in Interzoo.digital. The standard ticket price for the entire duration of the fair is 23 euros.  

Preparation required

To gain as much benefit from the show as possible, thorough preparation is required, however. To enable sector participants to familiarise themselves with the platform and make initial contacts, Interzoo.digital will open at least a week before the actual event takes place on 1 to 4 June. In the soft opening phase, attendees can create their user profile, find their way around the platform and agree dates with exhibitors for subsequent virtual meetings.At the time of going to press it wasn't clear how many exhibitors will present at the digital fair. Over 150 companies had registered by mid-April. An up-to-date list of exhibitors is available online at www.interzoo.com/en/exhibitor-list. Leading suppliers in the pet sector from Germany and Europe, Asia and North America are expected, along with new companies, start-ups and international trade and industry organisations and experts.To simplify procedures for visitors to Interzoo.digital, the Show Floor has been created, where it is possible to search by supplier, brand or certain product groups. Under the My Interzoo heading, participants can see their appointments, as well as exhibitors and speakers of interest to them. Just as at the physical show, visitors can browse exhibitor profiles at the Show Floor. On the Products & Companies video channel they will come across new products featuring in short presentations by exhibitors, and may encounter a few surprises.

Making contacts

If the organiser, the Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe (WZF) is to be believed, trade and industry representatives at the first digital edition of the international fair will not only find inspiring new products and concepts to evaluate, but will also be presented with quick and easy networking opportunities. Visitors will not only get to know exhibitors, but can also network with other visitors. The system will find suitable business partners for a visitor based on the personal profile and list of interests submitted by the latter. In addition, it will be possible to carry out a targeted search for someone using the simple search function and also to arrange appointments easily.
