"The cat food segment is an increasingly important aspect of the assortment," says Jan Vos, export manager at Bosch Tiernahrung, for example. He reports above-average development internationally, and sees an expansion in varieties even for cat treats, with sales growing steadily. The cat is the focal point both nationally and internationally this year for Dr.Clauder's managing director Malte Hübers too. "Plenty of new products and a large number of cat bloggers will win consumers over this year," says the sector expert confidently. The first products are expected to hit stores at the end of the summer," says August Wolff-Engel.

We can't overdo it." The experienced retailer is observing growing demand for mono-protein wet food, natural…
