The company says that the dark anthracite hue of the 100- and 130-litre tanks enables these units to blend into any lifestyle scenario. A curved front panel emphasises their visual depth and accentuates the attractiveness of fish and plants. The day function (24 watts) lights up the underwater world in daylight white, supporting plant growth. At night the aquarium is bathed in soft blue light (6 watts). The integral LEDs with long-life chip-on-board technology guarantee very good lighting results with minimal energy consumption, according to Tetra. The power requirement is at least 50 per cent less compared with the previous T5 lighting.
