Established in 1991, the Taichung-based company started as a trading business that supplied customers with a variety of pet products. Three years later, the management decided to establish a ribbon manufacturing plant specialising in the production of pet ribbons and pet metal­ware, to meet market demand and broaden the range of services. Today, Pronix Industries offers a wide range of products including pet collars, leashes and harnesses as well as various pet buckles, nameplates and decorative accessories. The staff comprises 35 people and the factory covers an area of 10 000 m2. Exports account for the majority of the company’s sales and Pronix has sales locations in Europe, North America, Japan and Australia. The company is skilled at bringing together different fabrics, processes and applications to create user-oriented pet ribbon products that exhibit diversity and are competitive. The mainstay products for Pronix this year are a pet collar, leash and harness with fluorescent and reflective functions. Transfer printing is used to print the fluorescent substance onto the ribbon, making it fluorescent in the dark and giving it reflective properties. The product not only has a distinctive appearance, but is also safe and convenient for use at night. Special cat product Another attention-grabbing product for the company is its cat collar. In addition to its special appearance and texture created using weaving techniques, the collar combines the company’s independently developed stylish pet buckle and hand-made rhinestone buckle to give it a more refined and distinguished look. A variety of buckle styles are available to offer a greater selection. Due to their fine workmanship, high quality and innovative use of materials, newly introduced products from Pronix Industries always create a stir in the marketplace.
