The aroma of strawberries in the air The German company JRS launches the strawberry season in pet hygiene too with two litter products with a strawberry fragrance. For its aromatised universal pet litter “Cat’s Best Universal Strawberry” and “Chipsi Strawberry” the company also offers the retail trade a pallet display with the slogan “The aroma of strawberries in the air”. JRS says that the red display is eye-catching and intended to tempt customers to make a purchase. Both products are offered on a mixed pallet: 18 x “Chipsi Strawberry” hygiene pellets in a 60 l compressed pack and 20 x “Cat’s Best Universal Strawberry” litter chips in a 10 l bag. www.jrs.deHarnesses for the car In the event of a car collision, dogs are thought to carry a force equivalent to ten times their own body weight, according to British company Pet Brands. “RAC Travel Harnesses” have been tested to withstand up to 20 times the weight of the dog and should ensure the safety of both pet and owners in a car accident situation. The harnesses come in five different sizes, easily convert into a walking harness and work with any seatbelt. The new product line, “Wellness Dog Biscuits”, comes in a 250 g pack and is available in five varieties. The “Hair & Skin” variety comprises filled dog biscuits enriched with added linseed and biotin to promote a shiny coat and healthy skin. The biscuits also contain Omega-3 fatty acids. “Fit & Vital” are also filled biscuits with cranberry, which is intended to keep the bladder and urinary passage healthy and intact. The “Dental Care” biscuit, which is enriched with peppermint, ensures fresh breath.
