Exclusive ready-to-wear At Interzoo last May, the French company Sellerie Canine Vendeenne presented its latest collections: “Small Dog” features fancy leather, like gold and silver glossy calfskin and crumpled calfskin in anise, pink, sky blue, turquoise, orange and red colours. Bright-coloured jewellery and “Swarovski” paste are shown to advantage on the various collars. The “Whippet” collection in lambskin-style leather features top-of-the-range jewellery and “Swarovski” paste pendants. The “Molossi” collection offers crowns and paste enhancing this full-grain leather range. Cat food goes green The Swedish company Lantmannen Doggy continues to introduce new palatable and healthy recipes in the environmentally-friendly “Tetra Recart” packaging. “Bozita with reindeer” ensures that the cat gets a nutritious, complete meal that’s lean on fat (only 5.5 per cent) and very tasty. New for cats The British company MPM Products now offers a new dry cat food that contains no cereals and has a meat content produced from a minimum of 80 per cent chicken. “Applaws Dry” is based on the natural diet of the North African wildcat. The recipes are based on cats being obligate carnivores with short gastrointestinal tracts designed for a high protein diet, which utilises fat from meat sources and not cereals. Three cat foods are being launched: “Applaws Dry” (for adult cats) with chicken and salmon varieties and “Applaws Dry Kitten”, also for pregnant and nursing queens. Natural antioxidants such as vitamin E and rosemary oil are used to keep the food fresh without any artificial or chemical…
