1 What were the most important events and facts for your company in 2008? 2 What targets does your company have for the following year? New subsidiaries planned 1 For us the biggest event of this year has been Interzoo as usual. The introduction of our line of fish products can be seen as a highlight of this year, with the introduction proving to be very successful. The trade has received our concept of selling products for fish with great enthusiasm. Furthermore, we have restyled many of our product lines and are still continuing to do so. The restyle of our line of ?XtraVital? small animal foods was also received with enthusiasm. Some other facts and events are the founding of several new subsidiaries in Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and Norway. All of these companies are currently running and enlarge Beaphar?s international reach to the market, enabling us to offer products to our customers in all EU countries. 2 We are still working on enlarging our base of own subsidiaries in different EU countries, and we expect to add one or two countries in 2009 to the list of existing subsidiaries. We are also working on several new product lines for launch in 2009. Beaphar invests on a continuous basis in the development of new products, and will continue down this same road during 2009. These developments will be in line with our motto: Beaphar ? for a better pet world.
