Ferplast: Branching out into the aquatic sector

Nicola Vaccari will manage this ambitious project with the support of experienced engineers, biologists and other consultants. Following much detailed market research, Ferplast’s aim is to provide a high value spectrum of products which can easily create a passion in people for this silent, colourful and exciting living world. An impressive range of tanks from 20 to 230 litres will be available in two versions, the Classic range and for demanding fish hobbyists the Professional range.

Stylish cabinets are also available to complement the tanks, as well as internal multi-filtering systems from 3 to 12 litres in volume, complete with different filter materials. Compact power filters for small aquariums, submersible pumps ranging from 200 to 1600 l/h and heaters in various output ratings between 50 and 300W feature alongside aquarium filter media and a range of other accessories.
Ferplast has only one challenge for the immediate future: to continue to be Ferplast. To keep faith with the inspiration that, in the short space of 35 years, has led to the creation of a business that has become a leader in the pet industry.
