Aquarium kits in three sizes
The “Tropic Line” series marketed by Tyburski Euro-Light of Germany is a series of completely redesigned aquarium kits. The series, featuring three sizes, 60, 80 and 100 cm, extends the manufacturer’s product range. The company’s efficiency and competence in the glass aquarium segment is demonstrated by its use of modern production processes and its production capacity of up to 2 000 diamond-cut and TÜV-GS-certified aquariums a day.
Aquarium rocks
UK company Pettex Ltd. of Hainault in Essex has launched a range of eye-catching rocks for aquariums. The rocks, some of which are semi-precious, have been sourced from around the world, come in a range of colours and textures and are the ideal complementary product to go with their colourful range of Roman gravels. They are packed in display boxes, 10 kg for the small and 15 kg for the large, ready for retail sale.
Exclusive filtering media
Copper, chlorine, antibiotics, dissolved proteins and carbohydrates, medications, organic dyes, digested waste and many other compounds are very harmful for aquatic animals. They are chemical and organic pollutants which cause about 70 per cent of fish diseases. They are not visible and cannot be eliminated through mechanical or biological filtration but only through chemical filtration. Carbon filtering media removes all the above pollutants via adsorption (this should not be confused with absorption where molecules are taken into the pores of the media, adsorption occurs on the surface of the carbon). “Aktivkohle Plus” is an exclusive filtering media from Prodac, made of a mixture of super-activated coconut carbon and special resins. It has a double filtering action because the coconut carbon guarantees the highest level of adsorption as it is degassed at a temperature of 900° - 1100°, resins remove ammonia and nitrates from the fresh and marine water aquarium.
Europe design
Müller & Pfleger of Rockenhausen offer an mp Aquarium Line in their Europe design.
