Plaček Group opens 400th store

Czech-based international pet retailer Plaček Group has celebrated the opening of its 400th pet store under the Super Zoo concept. Located in Prague's key shopping centre OC Luziny, the 400 m²  store is proving very popular with customers, according to Plaček Group.

"The 400th store is a great milestone for us on the way to my personal dream of 1 000 stores," said Dušan Plaček, founder, owner and chairman of the Plaček Group. "Despite various turbulences in the market, we continue to expand and plan to open another 30 new stores in the next 12 months. Our priority is to complete our expansion in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where we have managed to make the Super Zoo brand a true love brand."

The Plaček Group operates in four countries, with the Super Zoo brand in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Kakadu Zoo in Poland and Dino Zoo in Latvia.  The retailer operates 190 stores in the Czech Republic, 80 stores in Slovakia, 88 stores in Poland and 42 stores in Latvia.
