Lars Larsen retires from Juwel Aquarium

After an impressive 39 years of service to German aquarium manufacturer Juwel Aquarium, chairman and managing director Lars Larsen is retiring on 1 January 2024.

Larsen joined the company on 2 September 1984. He assumed the role of managing director in 1994, making a significant contribution to the structure and development of the company. “His outstanding leadership considerably shaped the presence as well as the quality of the brand,” stated the company.

In addition to occupying a senior position in Juwel Aquarium, Larsen was also involved for many years in Germany’s Industrial Association of Pet Care Producers and played an active part in the fair committee of the world-leading fair Interzoo.
