Sera Academy goes international

After the aquatics company Sera launched the Sera Academy e-learning platform for German-speaking pet retailers in September 2022, it is now also available in English, Spanish and French. As of now, French, Spanish and English-speaking pet retailers can register with the Sera Academy at elearning.sera.de and gain access to the first Sera e-learning course package on ornamental fish nutrition.

The Sera Academy is an e-learning platform for pet retailers to acquire or expand their specialist knowledge in the areas of aquaristics, terraristics and garden ponds as well as specific Sera product know-how. Participation in the digital courses is free of charge.

The range of courses in the three new language versions currently consists of twelve product and three topic training courses in the area of nutrition (freshwater aquariums). Participants are taught, for example, how Sera ornamental fish food is produced, which ingredients are used in the food, what information product labels provide (and which do not), what makes the different types of food different and which types of food can be recommended to which aquarists.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the courses also offer useful practical tips for day-to-day advice in pet stores. After successfully completing the e-learning courses, participants are automatically issued with personalized certificates that can be downloaded and printed out. At the beginning of 2024, further product and topic training courses in the area of care will be added for all language variants.
