Feedem awarded Pet Retailer of the Year

Bestway Wholesale, the biggest independent wholesaler of pet products, food and drinks in the UK, revealed the winners of the Bestway Awards 2023 in a prestigious ceremony at London’s Marriot Hotel on Park Lane. The awards recognise outstanding achievements and business successes of independent retailers across the UK.

In recognition of its pet food store, Feedem in Guisborough was awarded Pet Retailer of the Year at the nationally acclaimed awards. In operation since 1994, the family firm is one of the leading suppliers of pet food and accessory products in the UK. Branch manager Ian Gamble said: “We are delighted that our store has received the Bestway Award for Pet Retailer of the Year. It means a lot to us, because it shows that all the hard work and dedication we put into our business has been acknowledged.”

Established in 1976, Bestway Wholesale has grown to become the UK’s largest independent food and drink wholesaler. It is part of the industrial giant Bestway Group, which also has global business interests in financial services, building materials, healthcare and real estate. The wholesale division is a supply partner to over 130 000 retailers as well as independent food service and specialist pet supplies businesses, with a UK turnover of 2.94 bn British pounds.
