Coveris recognised in Fair Inno Pack competition

The Coveris Group, which specialises in flexible packaging produced from plastic and paper, has received an award for its PaperBarrier Seal product in the Fair Inno Pack competition of the Swiss Emmi Group. Out of 80 packaging concepts submitted in total, 32 entries by 38 different suppliers made it to the second round. The expert jury selected by Emmi ultimately chose Coveris’s PaperBarrier Seal concept to receive an award along with seven other product solutions.

The PaperBarrier Seal is a fully recyclable, paper-based packaging. Similar to conventional plastic packaging, it has a high barrier function against moisture, oxygen, grease and mineral oils. PaperBarrier Seal is also food-safe and can therefore be used for pet food products.
