The international packaging specialist Coveris has completed another strategic transaction in Central and Eastern Europe with the acquisition of P.P. D.K. Lamin in Bialystok, Poland.
Three years after establishing its first production site in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Coveris is thus extending its presence. Together with Coveris Pirtó in Hungary, D.K. Lamin will form the hub for high-tech packaging production in Eastern Europe as part of the Coveris network, according to the company.
Established in 1990, D.K. Lamin has developed into a fast-growing, profitable manufacturer of high-grade laminated films and flexible packaging. The company complements the existing portfolio of Coveris and underpins its growth strategy in the pet food field in particular.
