Over 250 exhibitors from nine countries are expected to appear at the first Interpets consumer fair in Osaka from 16 to 18 June. Interpets Asia Pacific, which was staged in Tokyo from 4 to 7 April, attracted 62 234 visitors. The parent event of the show in Osaka has been one of the biggest trade shows in the Japanese pet supplies sector since 2011.
The accompanying programme for the fair in Osaka features an impressive range of activities. The Business Forum offers the latest information on pet food safety, animal welfare legislation, the latest results of medical research and on medical emergencies relating to pets. Also taking place during the fair are the Happy Grooming Contest, a dog and cat photo competition, pet training and health advice sessions, a good behaviour campaign and lots more besides.
