Versele-Laga unveils new production line

The corporate history of the Versele family began back in 1932. It is a story that has spanned four generations and hundreds of committed employees to date.

One of the many milestones along the way was the development in 2004 of a food concept for small animals which included processing long fibres into extrudates for herbivores. Growing demand and the company’s ambition to grow further necessitated investment in a second extrusion line in the factory at Deinze.

Versele-Laga has now unveiled its latest extrusion line and reports that it is thus the first manufacturer worldwide to have two extrusion lines for plant-based pet food for specific families of pets.
