The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) is an organisation in the USA providing extensive assistance to companies in the pet sector wanting to manufacture and do business in a more sustainable manner. Its profile has also become considerably more prominent in Europe, with its ideas often being incorporated into the sustainability strategies of European pet supplies companies.
Caitlyn Dudas is executive director of the PSC and one of the figureheads of the sustainability movement in the pet sector in the USA. At the International Pet Conference, which takes place in Bologna, Italy on 11 and 12 October, she will give the opening presentation with a two-hour session devoted to the topic of sustainability. Other aspects of this complex area will be considered in greater depth in other presentations and discussions, and practice-oriented solutions will be put forward for the pet sector.
Apart from Caitlyn Dudas, the session will feature the experienced sector experts Chantal Saelen (Moderna), Paul van der Raad (Protix), Michael Behnke (PLA Europe), Andreas Müller (Interquell) and Jean-François Laudouze (Veramaris). The session on sustainability will be one of the highlights of this year’s International Pet Conference.
