APPA names new CEO

The American Pet Products Association (APPA) has announced that Peter Scott has been appointed CEO with effect from 15 August. A proven leader with more than 20 years of experience, Scott has served as CEO of the American Academy of Optometry since 2019.

Prior to that, Scott spent more than six years as chief operating officer of the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and advancing veterinary professionals worldwide.
