PetSmart appoints Dickinson to general counsel post

PetSmart has appointed Emily Dickinson to the position of senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. Dickinson succeeds Scott Crozier, who retired from the post in April. “Emily is a smart, visionary leader with the perfect blend of retail experience and broad legal expertise,” said Bob Moran, PetSmart’s president and CEO. Dickinson spent 18 years with Hannaford Bros. Co., eight of which were also with Delhaize Group, a Belgian-based food retailer with more than 2 600 stores and approximately 136 000 employees.
