"Greenies" maker to be sold

Mars Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire S&M NuTec LLC, the manufacturer of "Greenies" dog treats, for an undisclosed price. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. According to american newspapers, in written statements, Christopher D. Brandt, general counsel for S&M NuTec, and Alice Nathanson, a spokeswoman for Mars, confirmed the agreement.
