New garden centre chain

Six former operators of Europatuin garden centres in Holland have now come together to form the new garden centre chain TuinWereld (Garden World), with a total of eight stores. According to a spokesman for the group, all six operators are equal managing partners in the group, which is based in Oud-Beijerland.
Europatuin filed for bankruptcy in September after it was obliged to honour rental guarantees for a number of member companies that had got into financial difficulties. The group had 47 garden centres at the last count.
