Garden Expo cancelled

The Garden Expo in Utrecht (Netherlands) has been cancelled this year, according to an announcement by the organizers, the Stichting Tuinpromotie Nederland (STN) and Vereniging voor de Tuinbranche (VBTB) associations along with the exhibition firm Amsterdam RAI. The show was to have taken place from 12 to 14 September, but is now expected to be held again in autumn 2005. The DIY & Hardware show planned to run in parallel was cancelled back in May, and the organizers have cited this as the reason for the cancellation of the Garden Expo also, even though half of the exhibition space had reportedly already been booked up.
