Two new proprietors continuing to operate outlets of the insolvent French chain

Eight out of a total of 20 stores belonging to the insolvent French retail chain Animal Planet are continuing to trade under new proprietors. The remaining outlets have been closed, according to a report by online service Aniwa Pro. The service states that five stores and the brand have been taken over by vet Pascal Faltot and his company Alaxann’, based in Reims. Seiler Distribution, which already markets the Espace Animal’s line, operates three former Animal Planet stores under its own logo and has closed a further store.
