Organisers of the first Aquaria reckon on around 38 000 visitors

An exhibition area of 9 000 m2 is being made available by the organisers of the new Aquaria China aquatics show. They are expecting around 8 000 trade visitors to attend from China and abroad, as well as 30 000 or so private individuals. The show is to be premiered in Guangzhou from 9 to 12 September 2004, and the accompanying programme of events includes an international conference focusing on ornamental fish aquaculture and a fish competition, for which 500 tanks are being supplied. A separate showcase for new products and product seminars run by exhibitors are also in the pipeline.
